Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS)

Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) is a collaborative approach to addressing mental health challenges that may be impacting a student’s academic, behavioral, and overall wellbeing.  ERMHS can be provided as a special education service through an IEP.  We use a combination of ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and other evidence- based strategies tailored to each individual's goals, strengths, and learning profile to address the following areas:
  • Self- regulation
  • Executive Functioning
  • Anger management
  • Characteristics of Anxiety
  • Characteristics of Depression
  • Grief and loss
  • Characteristics of OCD
  • Characteristic of PTSD
  • Social and romantic relationships
  • Family dynamics
  • Self- advocacy

Fee: $125/hour

Payment options: DIS Counseling or ERICS/ERMHS provider through a school district contract or for owed compensatory service time. 

Location: In- Person (San Marino Office), at school site, or virtual
