

Relationships, Boundaries, and Understanding Sexuality (20 hour group Workshop & a 1.5 hour parent/caregiver training)
For groups of individuals with Down syndrome or other Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities ages 18+. Groups are formed in collaboration with privately formed groups, school groups, agencies, or organizations wanting to provide this workshop to clients/patients/students. This workshop is designed to provide participants with language and a more in-depth understanding of relationships, sexuality, sexual health, and boundaries. Participants can be registered as individuals or as romantic partners. It also provides families with language and resources for facilitating learning and conversations. All information is presented in a factual, medically accurate, and developmentally appropriate way. However, the content delivered is based on the “need to knows” related to the individual’s physical age. This program is adapted from the framework and curriculum from the Elevatus (https://www.elevatustraining.com/) program.

Fee: $850/ per participant (5 minimum to hold group) (includes all materials, two facilitators, and a 1.5 hour parent/caregiver training). Travel expenses may be included if traveling over 30 miles.
