We offer a variety of parent and caregiver training both virtually and in person, designed to empower families with practical, strength-based strategies to support their child’s learning, behavior, and emotional well-being.

Individual Parent & Caregiver Training

Description:

Individual training provides personalized, one-on-one support tailored to a family’s specific goals, concerns, and context. Sessions focus on practical, strength-based strategies to support learning, behavior, and emotional well-being across home and school settings.
Other areas of specialty for parent/caregiver training:
- Down syndrome learning profile and supports across home and academic settings
- Mental health diagnoses and support for individuals with I/DD and Down syndrome
- Puberty and sexuality education and safety skills development
- Behavioral and adaptive skills development

Rates:

We also offer packages of parent/caregiver training sessions:
- 5 hours of parent/caregiver training = $675
- 10 hours parent/caregiver training = $1,350
- 15 hours parent/caregiver training = $2,025
- 20 hours parent/caregiver training = $2,700

California Self-Determination Program funding, Regional Center funding (Sexuality, Puberty, and Abuse Prevention), or private pay (payment plans available upon request).

Group Parent & Caregiver Training

Description:

Group training brings families together in a supportive learning environment to build shared understanding and practical skills. Sessions combine evidence-based guidance, discussion, and collaboration, allowing caregivers to learn from both professionals and one another.

Rates:

Individual parent & Caregiver training rates may vary depending on the type, location, timelines for services, hours required, and materials. Group rates typically range from $125/hour to $185/hour. Please inquire with admin@bookwormedpsych.com for more information.
