Executive Functioning & Self Advocacy Coaching

Description:

We provide executive functioning and self- advocacy coaching to empower individuals with I/DD, Down syndrome, or complex communication needs to tap into their strengths and build their skills. We support individuals to develop understanding of their disability, strengths, areas of support, and accommodations. As well creating a platform for sharing this information with people in their lives. Additionally, to build and strengthen skills in planning, organization, and studying.

Rates:

Rates may vary depending on the type, location, timelines for services, hours required, and materials. Rates typically range from $125/hour to $155/hour. Please inquire with admin@bookwormedpsych.com for more information.

Payment Options:

California Self-Determination Program funding (331- Community Integration Supports), or private pay (payment plans available upon request).

Reading Support

Description:

We provide one-on-one support for learners with I/DD, Down syndrome, or complex communication needs in phonics to develop overall spelling, reading, and writing skills. We use a mix of the University of Florida’s Literacy Institute’s curriculum with supplemental activities. We provide support to build tolerance and flexibility with academic activities in a low pressure, playful environment.
